Sept. 23rd, 2019, invited by Russia Saint-Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange(SPIMEX), Mr. Zhu Shiliang, the president of HETC and his delegation arrived in Moscow. Two parties held a meeting on establishing a joint trading mechanism for the sales of Russian energy products in China.
SPIMEX is the only national energy exchange. From Jan. 1st, 2020, all energy products sold by Russia, including crude oil, natural gas, wood and grain, must be traded through this exchange.
The people attended the meeting: the president of HETC -Mr. Zhu Shiliang, the representative in Russia-Mr. Oleg Makarov, Mr. Igor Zaitsev and Mr. Han Dong, the president of SPIMEX -Mr. Alexander Pavlov and Regional Policy Director -Mr. Sergey Zheleznyak. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions and reached consensus on establishing a joint trading mechanism for the sales of Russian energy products in China. HETC will provide a platform for the sales of Russian energy products in China. During the talks, the Russian SPIMEX gave full recognition to the spot innovative trading model of HETC. The cooperation between the two sides will not only contribute to the energy industry and friendship between China and Russia, but also drive the construction of a large market in the whole Eurasian continent.
